Dear Noel – Hoping this note finds you resting well post surgery, but knowing hospitals, I know they also are having your map the entire floor by foot, as many times a day as you are willing!! Blanche Virk shared your information with the MOB (our SI “mothers of boys” group) – of which you are an official member, of course! Chris and Drew were just down in So Cal for a downhill mt. bike race – Drew fell and did a number on his collarbone/shoulder tendons, don’t know yet if his collarbone is broken. They were hoping to see Luke while there, but – that didn’t happen after Drew’s accident.

We will be thinking of you this week and sending best vibes and lots of prayers for a full recovery! MOB are strong and support one another (-:

Wishing you and yours a Blessed Thanksgiving –
    xo – Eva

Dear Noel/Annie (not necessarily in that order),

Congrats on a successful first step. Not an easy one, but we’re gratified at your encouraging responses to surgery.

Our prayers and strong positive thoughts continue to be directed your way from Minnesota…and will stay with you and your family. Have as happy as Thanksgiving as you can while stuck in the hospital and get back in the sun when you’re able.

Our best wishes to you all, (oh, yes…and GO JOHNNIES!)

    Chris and Bob

I am keeping you in my thoughts – don’t push yourself to do too much too quickly. However, I know the nurses will have you running laps around the hospital soon (well, maybe not laps but it may feel like that).

I just returned from Yuma, after spending time with Virginia. She is doing well and we had a nice time together.

Take care. Wishing you a speedy recovery.

    Mrs. Stanton,

I just wanted to take a moment and tell you how much I appreciated the time we got to spend together earlier this year. Although I was unable to partake in the 95 degree tennis match that took place between you and Luke, I thoroughly enjoyed and appreciated our dinner at our humble little apartment here in Calabasas (even though you didn’t let me drink any of the white wine). Luke told me the surgery went well, and it’s remarkable that you were up and walking already.

I will be sending my love and thoughts your way. Your strength and outlook is an inspiration.

    All my love,
    Jeff Welsh

Hi Noel! – I wonder whether you would recognize me, it appears my hair has quit on me, ha! I am so happy to hear that your recovery is going well. I want you to know that I will be thinking of you and will be following your blog closely, what a great idea. Have a very good Thanksgiving. Give my love to Clark and John.

You are in my thoughts and prayers every minute. Sarah is my current contact but when she heads your way I will have to start bugging Clark and Ellen. Hearing your “voice” in your blog you sound stronger already. For now. love, Rosemary

Mom, very excited to read all the news after the procedure. You are making great progress, and your strength continues to amaze me. I’m sorry I can’t be there to hug you myself, but I know I love you more than words can express and that you are constantly in my thoughts. Say hi to everyone and have a wonderful thanksgiving. Sounds like the team is doing a great job being there for you!
